Your first appointment
Our reception team will confirm your appointment time, current consulting suite and any information Dr Venter needs before your visit. If you are unsure about anything, please call—we would much rather help than have you worry.

Your Medicare card, referral, medication list, relevant results or imaging, and private health insurance details if applicable.
Write down anything you want to discuss. You are welcome to bring a support person to your consultation.

Fees & Medicare
Coral Sea Women's Health is a private specialist practice. Consultation and procedure fees vary according to the care you need, and Medicare rebates apply when you hold a valid referral.
Our team will explain the current fee, expected Medicare rebate and likely out-of-pocket cost when arranging your appointment. Pregnancy management fees and any hospital, anaesthetist, assistant surgeon, imaging or pathology charges are separate where applicable.
Please ask if you need a written estimate before treatment.
Changes & cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your appointment, contact reception so the time may be offered to another patient. Ask our team about the current cancellation policy when booking.

A referral is needed to access applicable Medicare rebates. GP referrals are generally valid for 12 months; specialist referrals are generally valid for three months unless otherwise stated.
